The 10 Principles of Burning Man are more than just words, they’re at the core of everything we create together. They guide how we connect, express, and build community in the middle of the desert. These values help transform a temporary city into a meaningful, magical experience. They’re not commandments, but invitations to show up fully, care deeply, and co-create something unforgettable both on and off Playa.
The un-Rules
At Rabbit Hole, we believe in freedom, fun, and following your curiosity wherever it leads. Camp is a space to explore, express, and enjoy without feeling boxed in by too many rules or rigid expectations. We’re not here to micromanage your magic—we’re here to make space for it.
That said, a little structure helps the wonder thrive. There are a few simple guidelines that keep our burrow safe, kind, and collaborative, so everyone can feel held while they’re busy letting go.
Think of them less like rules... and more like agreements for shared enchantment.

Say hello. Invite others in.
Make space for every kind of wonderful.
Celebrate uniqueness: this is a judgment-free burrow.
We’re a fluffle (that’s a group of bunnies), not a clique.

Give from the heart, not from the wallet.
Offer joy: a dance, a drink, a handmade doo-dad.
The best gifts are unexpected, unwrapped, and full of soul.
Don’t keep score. Magic is not transactional.
Decommodification
No ads in the warren. No logos, no sales, no branding.

Radical Self-Reliance
Pack like you won’t find a Target in the desert.

Help with food, builds, cleanups, and cuddles.
